Heat of learning sinology in China

Chinese parents like to take their children to learn the studies of Chinese ancient civilization like Three Character Primer and Disciple Gauge. However, many training classes have no qualification. The abnormal heat of learning sinology is a crisis, so Chinese should identify sinology in a proper way.

Up till now, there are more than 4000 educational institutions holding the courses which are related to sinology education. In addition, since the sinology in China is popular, not only many courses related to sinology are held but also Han Chinese clothing - the clothes of the Han nationality is hot.

Since 2000, with the development of Chinese economy, Chinese has become confident in their culture. From then on, the abnormal heat of sinology has been raised.

The lack of professional teachers is one of the most important reasons to cause this chaos. Earlier this phenomenon was showed as more parents like to ask their children to learn Chinese folk instruments. Children will be pushed to learn instruments and be pushed to take the level examination. However, the human resources of teaching folk instrument cannot meet the need which has led to the higher price of the courses and the low quality of teachers.

Since parents think that learning folk instruments will cultivate children’s taste and that their children will have a brighter future. The merchants take advantage of parents’ ideas to attract them to bring their children to come. The price of course is at a premium under the seller market. In addition, the lack of professional teachers to teach folk instruments also made the market roll.

In addition, those children who are pushed to learn folk instrument, they do not have the chance to enjoy playing the instruments but were only able to practice and practice to learn as fast as possible to satisfy the need of parents. It is easy to imagine that most of these children will only know how to play the instrument rather than understand the beauty of playing the folk instrument.

The misunderstanding of sinology is another factor to cause the abnormal heat of sinology. In 2010, learning sinology including Three Character Primer and Disciple Gauge was hot. Wearing Han Chinese clothing, reading The Analects of Confucius, children think nothing but keep on reading it loudly.

Some full-developed and mature educational institutions have perfect sinology courseware. Those teachers who are good at speaking can rely on their memory and the detailed content of teaching plan to give a class. In this case, even though the teachers know nothing about sinology, they can give a class. However, if students ask something which is not included in the teaching plan, those teachers can only skate it over.

According to CNII, about 60 percent of parents rank education as the top, and 35 percent of urban families spend about 500-1000 RMB on the early education for their children. About 10 percent of family spend more than 1000 RMB a month on education of their children
